Walter J. Boehm, 82, of 1807 Franklin St., Manitowoc, died early Thursday
morning at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. John Hehner will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Boehm was born May 27, 1894, at Manitowoc, son of the late Anton and
Mary Zahorik Boehm. He married Viola Metzger May 21, 1917. He resided at
Manitowoc all his life. Prior to his retirement at age 65, he had been
employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding, Inc., Manitowoc, for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Frederick (Jean) Kornely,
of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Joseph (Violet) Miller, of Manitowoc, five
grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A brother and three sisters
preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.
