Norma K. Bonner, age 77, of 1112 Lincoln Blvd., Manitowoc, and of 708 Southeast
7th Avenue, Pompano Beach, Fla., passed away Wednesday February 3, 1993, in
Florida.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday February 15, 1993, at the
First Lutheran Church, the Rev. Bruce Hanstedt officiating with cremation having
taken place and burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born May 21, 1915, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Albert John and
Edna Hempten Kempfert. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from
Lincoln High School. Later attending Northwestern University School of Music
in Evanston, Ill. She married Dr. Nelson Bonner on June 6, 1936, at Manitowoc
the couple then resided in Manitowoc.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Nelson and Diane Bonner of Simi
Valley, Calif.; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Kay Keever, St. Louis,
Mo., Sue and David Huetner, Norman, Okla., Nan and John Keune, Manitowoc, Rae
and Ernst Gutschow, Kiel, Wis.; eight grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband in 1991 and one brother.
The family will greet their friends in the Fireside Room following the services.
The Jens Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with funeral services.
A memorial has been established in her name.
