Atty. Charles Brady, 62, of 857 Lincoln Blvd., Manitowoc, died Monday evening in Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Dale Tutje will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Brady was born June 2, 1915 in Manitowoc, son of the late Charles E. and Evelyn Hogen Brady. He attended schools in Manitowoc, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1934. Mr. Brady attended University of Wisconsin graduating from law school in 1940. He enlisted into the military service January 7, 1943 as a private. He was discharged as a Captain in February, 1946. Mr. Brady was stationed at Ft. Ord, California.
He married Amy Topic June 29, 1944. The couple resided in Manitowoc all their lives. Mr. Brady was presently semi-retired.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Charles of New York; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Robert Kohen and Mary and Paul Goldstein of New York; Barbara and Leo Scanlan of St. Louis. A sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Jens Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until the time of service. The casket will remain closed. Memorials may be made to the charity of their choice.
