Francis J. Brady, 74, of 1102 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in st. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Brady was born Sept. 19, 1904, in Manitowoc, son of the late Joseph S. and Katherine McNulty Brady. He resided in Manitowoc all his life, attended Manitowoc Public Schools and married Louise M. Van Serke May 25, 1944, in St. Mary Church, Manitowoc. Prior to his retirement in 1964, Mr. Brady had been employed as a foreman with Manitowoc Engineering Company. He was well known in Manitowoc County as a baseball player and was very active and past president of Shipbuilders Credit Union.
Survivors include his wife, Louise M.; two brothers, Professor George Brady of Knoxville, Tenn., and Joseph Brady of Alton, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Ray (Eleanore) Jacobson and Miss Mary Claire Brady of Manitowoc and Miss Agnes Brady of Park Ridge, Ill, and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
