CHARLES A. BRANDT (d. 1972)

Charles A. Brandt, 89, of 1106 S. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Friday at
Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Phipps Memorial Chapel
of the First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase Zanotti
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Brandt was born June 23, 1882, at Manitowoc, son of the late William
and Augusta Stahl Brandt. He attended schools in Manitowoc. He married
Carrie Bolz Oct. 1, 1903, at Manitowoc. They resided in Manitowoc and
celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 1968.
Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. L.V. (Lucile) Titera of
Hot Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Clyde (Helene) Christiansen and Mrs. James
(Jane) Allger of Manitowoc, two half-brothers, Wilbur of Milwaukee and
Ariel of Tacoma, Wash., two half-sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Rhoda) Watt of
Waukegan, Ill., and Miss Lola Brandt of Manitowoc, five grandchildren and
a great grandson. A son, two brothers and two half-sisters preceded him in
death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 4 p.m. Sunday until
11:30 a.m. Monday and then at the chapel from noon until the time of service.
Masonic Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc, or the
Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital.
