ARLYN BRAXMEIER

Arlyn Louise J. Braxmeier, 89,, of 87 E. 13th St., Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born July 24, 1911 in Manitowoc, the daughter of Arthur Charles and Emma Boeckmann Braxmeier. Arlyn attended Fond du Lac public schools and graduated from Fond du Lac Senior High School, Class of 1928. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1933.
During the 1940's, Arlyn taught at Lincoln High School, Park Falls and Brandon High School. She left the teaching profession and entered the retail field, becoming a buyer at the former Hill Brothers and Edith's in Fond du Lac. She purchased children's wear for the former Wm. A. O'Brien Company for 28 years. She is survived by cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Douglas Hedman will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc. Visitation from noon to 1 pm Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. Mach Funeral is serving the family.
