Mrs. Edwin Braxmeier, 81, of St. Mary Home, Mantiowoc, died Saturday
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church
Chapel, Manitowoc. The Rev. George C. Knudson will ofifciate (sic) and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Braxmeier, nee Elfrieda Klump, was born April 29, 1889, at Milwaukee,
daughter of the late Julius and Wilhelmina Gerpsch Klump. She was married
to Edwin A. Braxmeier Sept. 5, 1927, at Milwaukee. The couple resided in
Manitowoc after marriage. Her husband preceded her in death Jan. 14, 1968.
Mrs. Braxmeier was a member of the Braille Club of Manitowoc and a member
of the Badger Association of Milwaukee.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Olga Stevens, Mrs. Elenore Kahn and
Mrs. Hatti Bent of Milwaukee and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 4 p.m. Monday
until 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. The casket will be moved to the church at noon
where the body will lie in state until the time of service.
