Susan C. Brennan, age 54, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday evening, May 12, 2011, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay. She was born on Dec. 12, 1956, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late DeForrest and Beverly (Patterson) King. Susan married William Brennan on July 9, 1993, in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1994.
She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center until she took time off to raise her son, Will. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Lisa and Raymond Tyson, Manitowoc; Melissa Sleger and her fianc?, Steve Baxter, Reedsville; a son: Will (Butchie) Brennan, Manitowoc; seven grandchildren: Cody, Joshua, Gage and Samantha Tyson, Riley and Madison Sleger, Logan Baxter; a brother: Steve King, Brillion; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law: Daniel Brennan, Mark and Jane Lea Brennan; and three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Jennifer and Tom Sytkowski, Mary Jane and Wayne Petska and Barbara Brennan; further survived by the Rev. Paul Demuth. She is also survived by her first husband: John Terens, Manitowoc; and a special friend: Mark (Chow) Yelmene. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William Brennan; a sister: Sandy Land; a brother: Bill King; and a cousin: John Fraser.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Susan has been cremated at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011, until 11:15 a.m.
