VERNON F. BRENNAN

Vernon F. (Pat) Brennan, 66, of 1226 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. John Hephner will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Brennan was born April 21, 1910, at Valders, son of the late Thomas and
Hermina Schott Brennan. He moved to Manitowoc as a child with his family,
graduating from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1927. He was a member
and captain of Lincoln High School State Championship Basketball Team of 1927.
He married Rose M. Traurig Feb. 26, 1929, at Waukegan, Ill. Mr. Brennan was a
veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy, and a member of American
Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88, Amvets Post No. 23, and Eagles aerie 706 of
Manitowoc. He had been proprietor of Brennan's Bar until his retirement two
and one half years ago.
Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Donna) Fricke and
Mrs. Richard (Judi) Neff, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Peter (Bonnie) Perry, of
Poynette, Wis.; two brothers, Leslie Brennan of Madison and retired U.S. Air
Force Col. Gerald Brennan of Honolulu, Hawaii; two sisters, Mrs. Nello (Marion)
Pacetti, of Wauwatosa and Mrs. Alfredo (Elaine) Lopez, of Alexandria, Va., 12
grandchildren and a great grandson. Two brothers, Roland and Donald, and a great
grandson preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday
until the time of service. An Eagles Aerie 706 memorial service will be at 8
p.m. Thursday.
