EUGENE BRESLER

DEATH CLOSES BRIGHT LIFE
Eugene Bressler(sic) Had Won His Way Until Disease Took Him
Eugene E. Bressler died at the home of Probate Judge John Chloupek, Buffalo Street, Tuesday night, death though sudden not being unexpected. Mr Bressler's demise was due to a complication of heart trouble from which he suffered for some time, being forced to retire from business last September to seek quiet and rest. He had been a great sufferer but had borne it with patience and resignation and his death was calm and peaceful.
Mr. Bressler was born in this city March 1, 1873 and spent his boyhood here, attending the South Side school and later being employed in the Melendy and Packard Photo Studio. As a youth he located at Milwaukee and entered the drug business and ten years ago took up his home in the West, engaging in business at Lead, South Dakota and seven years ago removing to Sebanon, Ore., where he had been successful until forced to give up his career by illness.
Mr. Bressler married at Milwaukee November 10, 1899 to Miss Clara Johnson, daughter of the late Peter Johnson who survives together with his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bressler, this city, two brothers, Charles and Frank and four sisters, Mrs. C. Willmann of Germany, Mrs. John Chloupek and Miss Sophia Bresler of Manitowoc and Mrs. W. Eberhart of Chicago. The funeral will be held from the home of Judge Chloupek on Buffalo Street Friday afternoon at two o'clock.
