BARBARA BREY (d. 1930)

MRS. G. BREY, 59, DIES SUNDAY AT HOME HERE
Mrs. George Brey, 59, a resident of this city since her marriage to Mr. Brey
in 1891, passed away on Sunday noon at the family home, 607 Chicago street,
after a lingering illness. Burial will take place on Wednesday morning at nine
o’clock from the Sacred Heart church, of which the deceased was a member.
Burial will be at Evergreen.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Barbara Wellner, was born in the town of
Franklin and was married in 1891 to George Brey, moving to this city where they
have since resided. Besides the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Ray Brachmann of
Charlotte, N.C., and one son, William, three brothers, George of Franklin,
Michael of this city, and John of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and five sisters, Mrs. Anton
Kolbeck, Mrs. Frank Kolbeck, and Mrs. Peter Neuser all of this city, Mrs. W. F.
Grall of Whitelaw and Mrs. Jos. Jung of Oshkosh, survive.
