Joseph E. Bricco, age 67, of 3400 Yorkshire Lane Apt. 101, Manitowoc, died
Wednesday, January 31, 2001, at the VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wis.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2001, at the
Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M.
with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Graveside Military
Services will be accorded by Amvets Post #99 of Manitowoc.
Joseph was born October 12, 1933, in White Lake, Wis., son of Helen Taylor
Bricco and the late Lester Bricco. He was a graduate of White Lake High School.
Joseph served with the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. On
June 18, 1960, he married Delores Fischer. Joe was employed with Dayco Eastman
Company for 28 years, retiring in 1998. Joe was a life member of Amvets Post
#99 where he served as Post commander.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Bricco, Manitowoc; his mother, Helen Bricco,
Appleton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Denise Bricco, Manitowoc,
Robert and Toni Bricco, Bremerton, Wash.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn
and Tim Garetson, Beloit, Sandra and Carl Case, Green Bay; eight grandchildren,
Elizabeth, Victoria, Kimberly, Matthew, Adam, Carl, Catie, and Charissa; six
brothers and one sister-in-law, Lawrence and Shirley Bricco, Shawano, Patrick
Bricco, Appleton, James Bricco, Plymouth, Ward Bricco, Little Chute, David
Bricco, Joliet, Ill., Tom Bricco, Appleton; three sisters and two brothers-in-
law, Alice and Gene Heintz, Little Chute, Mary and Chuck Tyvol, Appleton, Carol
Bauman, Appleton; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Betty Fischer.
Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded
in death by two brothers, Ted Bricco and Jack Bricco.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc from 4-8 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will conclude the visition
at 8 p.m. led by Sr. Renee Delvaux. The member of Amvets Post #99 of Manitowoc
will meet in body at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
