Leonis G. Brice, age 78, a resident of 4921 Benley Ct., Manitowoc, died
Thursday evening, January 28, 1999.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 1999, at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass will be celebrated by
Rev. William Zimmer, cremation will have taken place.
She was born September 12, 1920, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late
John and Barbara Perdzock Taddy. She graduated from Washington High
School, in Two Rivers with the class of 1938. She married Harley F.
Brice, on September 24, 1940, in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on
August 10, 1992. During the 1960's, Leonis was employed as an Assistant
Clerk of Court of Manitowoc County. She and her husband then moved to
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where they lived for 30 years. She returned in
May of 1998, to be close with her family and friends.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Sheldon and Dianna Brice,
Manitowoc; two daughters, Marcia Brice, Chicago, and Barbara Brice,
Clearwater, Fla.; two grandchildren, Leslie and Shawn; one brother,
Claude Taddy, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives
and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband, Harley, in 1992; and one sister, Janet Laurant.
Friends may call at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, from 10
a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 1999, until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
