MISS IDA BRICK LOSES BATTLE FOR LIFE HERE
Miss Ida F. Brick, aged 47, passed away at the Holy Family hospital this morning,
following an operation which she underwent there. Miss brick had been ailing for
more than a month and while her death did not come wholly unexpected the news of
her passing is received as a shock by friends and relatives.
Miss Brick made her home with her parents in the same house at Rapids, in which
she was born. She was single and survived only by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl
Brick; a brother, E. C. Brick, of Wausekee?; and a sister, Mrs. Ervin Wernecke,
of Newton.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1, from the home at Rapids, to
the Lutheran church in this city, of which she was a member, where the Rev.
Machmiller will conduct services at 2 o'clock. Burial will take place at Evergreen.
