Joseph T. "Bup" Brockhoff age 89, of 5716 Hwy. 310, Manitowoc, died on Friday
afternoon, May 16, 2008, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Joseph was born Jan. 22, 1919, in the town of Kossuth, son of the late Paul and
Anna Weina Brockhoff. On Feb. 8, 1938, Joe was married to the former Violet M.
Kleman at St. Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek. The couple celebrated their
70th wedding anniversary in February and Violet preceded Joe in death on Feb.
28, 2008. Joe and Violet farmed in the town of Kossuth all of their married
life. Joseph was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, and a past member of the
Rockwood Volunteer Fire Department and the Manitowoc County Milk Producers.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Violet Brockhoff; one daughter: JoAnn
Hodas; three brothers: Paul, Robert and Melvin Brockhoff; four sisters and three
brothers-in-law: Dorothy (Joe) Novak; Arlene (Ray) Ziarnak, Marjorie Brockhoff
and Grace (Herbert) Schiesl; two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law:
Elaine (Reinhardt) Kubsch, Lucille (George) Gosz and Robert Kleman; two nieces:
Lori Samz and Laurie Hoopman.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at St.
Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek. The Rev. Paul Paider will celebrate the
Mass of Christian Burial with burial of his cremated remains at Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday at the Reinbold &
Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc, 818 State Street, from 5 p.m. until 7
p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at
10:30 a.m.
