Edwin Brodkorb, 74, of 305 N. Fifth St., Manitowoc, died Saturday at home
following a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 .m. Tuesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Brodkorb was born July 16, 1891, at Mishicot, son of the late Gustave and
Albertine Wacholz Brodkorb. He came to Manitowoc as a young man and was employed
for a time at Oriental Milling Co., Manitowoc. In 1922 he began with the public
services as an engineer retiring in 1956.
He married the former Violet Groll at Manitowoc Feb. 13, 1943, where the couple
resided. He was a member of the Manitowoc Masonic Lodge 65 F and AM.
Surviving are the wife, a son, Leslie, of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Harold
(Jean) Mahnke, of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Ella Trossen, of Mishicot; five
grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. A brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday where Masonic memorial
services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
