VIOLET BRODKORB
Mrs. Edwin (Violet) Brodkob, 88, a resident of St. Mary Nursing Home, Manitowoc, formerly of 305 N. 5th St., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, March 29, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Private funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Nursing Home Chapel, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Klumb will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Brodkorb, nee Violet Groll, was born July 6, 1893, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Emil and Emma Clauder Groll. She attended Manitowoc schools. She was married to Edwin Brodkorb Feb. 13, 1943, at Manitowoc, the couple residing at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1966.
Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Shirley Zeman of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
There will be no visitation. The casket will remain closed. Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.
