RUTH D. BROUCHOUD
Mrs. Ruth D. Brouchoud, 76, of 1408 Division Street, Manitowoc, died Friday
morning, December 25, 1987 at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services
will be 11 am Monday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Arno J.
Wolfgramm will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Brouchoud was born February 10, 1911 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of
the late Louis and Martha Luebke Pleuss. Mrs. Brouchoud attended First German
School. She married Erhardt Waack and he preceded her in death January 31, 1940.
She later married Marvin Brouchoud in July of 1942 at Manitowoc. He preceded her
in death July 4, 1972. Mrs. Brouchoud was a member of First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church and the Musicians Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd L. and Janet Waack,
Leonard M. and Ruth A. Brouchoud and Leroy E. and Lois Brouchoud, all of
Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred L. and William Fisher of
Grafton, Wisconsin and Marie D. and Francis Sprang of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs.
Olga Bratz of St. Nazianz; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Milda Pleuss of Manitowoc; 11
grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and
friends survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret in 1954 and
a brother, Harold Pleuss.
Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, 4 pm to
8 pm Sunday and Monday at the church from 10 am until the time of service.
