Robert W. Bruechert, age 76, of 2005 Division St., Manitowoc, died
Tuesday, June 10, 1997, at St. Mary's Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday, June 13, 1997, at
First Lutheran Church Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Richard Lind,
with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Robert served in the United State Air Force 314 Division in World War
II. He was born December 31, 1920, in Manitowoc, son of the late William
and Vlasta Nespar Bruechert. He attended schools in Manitowoc, and
graduate with the class of 1938 from Lincoln High School and later
graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He married Janice
Drumm in 1954 in Manitowoc. Robert was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts
and attended the First Jamboree in Washington D.C. in 1938.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Janice Drumm Frisch, Sun City West,
Ariz.; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert W.P. and Nancy
Bruechert, Radnor, Pa., Stephen Bruechert, Manitowoc, Kevin Bruechert,
San Jose, Calif., two daughters and one son-in-law, Barbara Bruechert
Colley, Palo Alto, Calif., Pamela and Clarence Conjurski, Manitowoc; two
brothers, LeRoy Bruechert, Green Bay, Donald Bruechert, Gurnee, Ill.;
one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Marvin Musial, Manitowoc; seven
grandchildren, Angie, Jeffrey, and Brian Conjurski, Manitowoc, William
and John Bruechert, Radnor, Pa., Cameron Colley, Palo Alto, Calif.,
Jaquelyn Bruechert, Manitowoc. Also preceded in death by one sister,
Janet Bruechert Bauer, one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law.
Jens Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
