Mr. Gerald W. Bushman, age 64, of 1125 S. 7th St,. Manitowoc, died Friday,
October 21, 1994, at Transitional Hospital Corporation, Greenfield, Wis.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, 1994, at Harrigan
Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. David Klutterman will officiate with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born July 17, 1930, in St. Nazianz, son of the late Felix and Veronica
Kautzer Bushman. He graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, with the class
of 1949. He married Kathleen C. Halin on October 13, 1962, at Dubuque, Iowa. Mr.
Bushman served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953 and was stationed in
Japan. He was an employee of Wisconsin Bell for 37 years retiring in 1992. He was
a member of Wisconsin Bell Telephone Pioneers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman
with a great love for the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; four children, Linda (Brian) Kinzel, Robert
and his fiancée, Carla Nitka, Maureen (Kenneth) Drewieske, all of Manitowoc,
William and his special friend, Shelly Hanson, of Milwaukee; three brothers, Wallace
(Blanche) Bushman, Florissant, Mo., Felix (Elsie) Bushman, Petersburg, VA., Wayne
(Gladys) Bushman, Amelia, Ohio; a sister, Carol Ohde, Bull Head City, Ariz.; three
grandchildren, Patricia Endries, Ashley Bushman and Sean Patrick Drewieske; also
other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 5-8 p.m. and
Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
