FRIEDA CARMODY
Mrs. Frieda Carmody, 44, of 1523 Dewey St., Manitowoc, died late Saturday
afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.
Funeral services were held this Tuesday afternoon at the Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiated and burial was
in Evergreen cemetery.
The former Frieda Balte was born Sept, 25, 1910, at Milwaukee.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Funk of Manitowoc; two sons,
Edward and Henry of Manitowoc; father, David Balte of Manitowoc; a brother,
John Balte of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. John Stadelman and Miss Rose
Balte of Manitowoc and Mrs. Robert Sousek of Two Rivers; and four grand-
children.
