WALTER J. CHADEK
Walter J. Chadek, 57, of 837 N. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning
at the home.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Rev.
E.A. Radey will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Chadek was born at Manitowoc Nov. 8, 1899, son of the late Joseph Chadek
and Mrs. Frances Bouda Chadek. He attended Sacred Heart Parochial School, was
graduated from high school and attended the University of Wisconsin for two
years. He was employed by Manitowoc Shipbuilding until two years ago when
illness compelled him to retire. He was a member of Local 443 of the Ship-
building firm.
Surviving is his mother with whom he had made his home.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday where the Rosary
will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
