Harold J. Chavalia, 60, of 1601 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. John Gallagher will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Chavalia was born Sept. 15, 1912, at Ludington, Mich., son of Joseph
Chavalia and the late Constance Chavalia. He married Mary Traurig Oct. 12,
1937, at Ludington, moving to Manitowoc to reside. He was a veteran of
World War II, serving as a technician fourth class with the 348th Harbor
Craft Company. He was a maltster at Anheuser-Busch, Inc., Manitowoc.
