Mrs. Ladislaus (Logic) Cherney, 88, of 1412 S. 11th St., Manitowoc, died
Friday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a three month's
illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase Zanotti will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Cherney, nee Anna Ginzl, was born July 25, 1876, in Czechoslovakia,
daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Ginzl. When she was eight years
old the family came to America and established residence in the Town of
Gibson. She was married in 1901 to Mr. Cherney at Two Rivers where the
couple lived two years before moving to Manitowoc. He died in May, 1956.
She is survived by a son, Roland, and a daughter, Mrs. Alex (Arlene)
Baltos, and two sisters, Mrs. John Jindra and Mrs. Edward Jens, of
Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
