Mrs. Rose F. Chizek, 79, of 2618 Michigan Ave., Manitowoc, died Friday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Winton Teter will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Chizek, nee Rose Valenta, was born Feb. 9, 1896, at Kumzaku, Bohemia, daughter
of the late Albert and Anna Hrum Valenta. She was educated in Czechoslovakia. She
was married to Paul C. Chizek April 17, 1917, at Chicago. He preceded her in death
in September of 1974. She attended Social Calendar Club meetings.
Survivors include a son, Jeremiah Chizek, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, two grandchildren
and three great grandchildren. Three brothers and four sisters preceded her in
death.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
