GERTRUDE CHLOUPEK
Mrs. Eugene (Gertrude) Chloupek, 92, of 210 E. Fairfax St., Falls Church, Va., died Sunday afternoon, February 7, at North Virginia Doctors Hospital in Falls Church.
Eastern Star services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. Alfred Klumb. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Chloupek, nee Gertrude Frazier, was born Oct. 28, 1889, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Charles and Clara Zander Frazier. She attended schools in Manitowoc and was graduated from Battle Creek Sanatorium School of Nursing in Battle Creek, Mich., in 1913. She did public health nursing in Manitowoc several years and was married to Eugene Chloupek June 30, 1915, at Manitowoc. Mr. Chloupek was a salesman for Mirro Corporation for many years and his father was the late Judge John Chloupek who served on Manitowoc Probate Court for many years. Mr. and Mrs. Chloupek lived in Indianapolis, Ind., and Evanston and Wilmette, Ill. Her husband preceded her in death in 1964. She was a life member of Order of Eastern Star 196. She had resided in Falls Church the past 15 years.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Louis Jones of Falls Church and June and John Alicott of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two brothers, Arthur and Adolph Frazier of Silver Springs, Md., seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death.
