About two weeks ago sailor Andrew Christiansen, while making repairs on
the schooner “Two Myrtles”, fell about six feet into the hold and was so
badly injured that he had to be taken to Holy Family Hospital. He died
there Sunday evening from his injuries. He is survived by his widow and
7 children.

Captain Andrew Christensen, aged 58 years, died at the Holy Family hospital
Sunday night, as a result of injuries received in an accident with which he had
met at Sturgeon Bay on Wednesday of last week.
The deceased is survived by a wife and even children, the family home being at
813 South 19th street.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the First Norwegian Lutheran church,
interment taking place at Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. A. Shaw was on Tuesday called to Manitowoc by the death of her brother, Capt.
Andrew Christianson, when death resulted from a fall. Capt. Christianson was mate
on the steamer, Two Myrtles and while superintending the loading of hay at Algoma,
he fell into an open hatch,, striking on his head and fracturing the skull. He was
taken to the hospital at Manitowoc where after lingeriing until Monday night, he
died from the injuries. Deceased was about 58 years old and had sailed the lakes
for the past 30 odd years.
