Elizabeth Christensen
Elizabeth Christensen, 90, of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, died Monday, May 7, 1990,
at the home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Wesley United Methodist Church,
Manitowoc. Rev. Robert Hays will offiicate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
She was born February 15, 1900, in Gresham, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Wenzel
and Margaret Heckel Stoehr. She married Anton Kohlbeck. Later she married Ray
Christensen. She was a Gold Star Mother, member of Ruth Circle Ladies Guild and a
member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Norbert and Harriet Kohlbeck of
Manitowoc, Clarence and Bernice Kohlbeck of Manitowoc, Gerald and Aundra Kohlbeck
of Sheboygan, Donald and Marlene Christensen of Manitowoc; a daughter, Beverly
Stegmann of Manitowoc; 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; many nieces and
nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by three sons; an infant son, Daniel
Christensen, Kenneth Kohlbeck, Victor Kohlbeck, brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to
11 a.m. at the funeral home on Thursday and then at the church from 12 noon until the
time of service.
