RUTH A. "RUTHIE" CHRISTENSEN

Ruth "Ruthie" Ann Christensen, age 63, a resident of 1602 Reed Ave.,
Manitowoc, entered into eternal life surrounded by her loving family
on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at her residence.
Ruthie was born on Aug. 21, 1943, in San Pedro, Calif., to the late
Robert Franklin and Jean Forseth. She graduated from Cloquet High
School in Cloquet, Minn., with the class of 1961. She was employed
for more than 27 years as a customer service representative with the
State of Wisconsin Job Service for Manitowoc County. Ruthie enjoyed
spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She was a caring friend who touched the lives of many people. Her
hobbies included scrapbooking, crafting, gardening, T.V., "putzing"
and traveling with Charlie.
Ruthie is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Rhonda "Roni"
and Todd Mueller, Two Rivers; Renee and Armand Boyd, Jr. and their
children: Armand III "Trey" and Taya, Springfield, Va.; and RaLee
"Bink" and Mark Schreiber and their children: Taylor and Seth, Two
Rivers; also three additional grandchildren: Morgan, Daija and Dante
Christensen; a very special friend: Charles Sydow, Whitelaw; also
other relatives and friends surviving.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents: Robert Franklin and Jean
Forseth; one son: Daniel Christensen on Jan. 12, 2007; and her maternal
grandparents: Clara and William McCarthy.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, July 8, 2007,
at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. The
visitation will continue on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the
funeral service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Sonia Alvarado will officiate.
Interment will follow for both Ruth and her son Daniel Christensen's
cremains at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, North 11th
and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to (private) for
the care and compassion they provided to everyone during Ruthie's final
days. Additional thanks goes to the Aurora VNA, Dr. (private) and his
staff, and to everyone at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Care Center in Two
Rivers.
