Sailor Drowned
A sailor named Christ Christiansen of the schooner Annie Thorine, while engaged early yesterday morning in scrubbing the deck of the vessel, slipped in stepping from the cabin to the taffrail and struck his head against some wood upon the dock and fell into the river. His body was recovered within five minutes of the accident, but was found to be lifeless. He belonged to Manitowoc and was an unmarried man about 25 years of age. - Wisconsin
