Mrs. Frances Christel(sic), 73, of 727 S. 20th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 10 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Phillip Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Christel was born Feb. 29, 1904, in Germany. She came to the United States in 1961 to reside in Manitowoc.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Worthington, Ohio; a brother, Rev. George of Brazil, South America; two sisters, Mary and Emily of Germany and three grandchildren.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 6 to 9 o'clock this Friday evening where a prayer service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer society.
