EMMA CHRISTOFFEL
Mrs. Peter Christoffel, of 1215 S. 13th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning
at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 10 o’clock at the St. Boniface Church. The Rev.
Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
She was born Emma Lefky in Kossuth and in 1908 was married to Mr. Christoffel.
They located in Two Rivers and in 1929 moved to Manitowoc. Her husband died in
1942.
Survivors are two sons, Roy and Lester of Manitowoc; brother, Anton of Manitowoc;
sister, Mrs. Fred Radtke of Two Rivers. She was a member of the Christian Mothers
of St. Boniface congregation and the Catholic Women’s Club.
Friends may call at the funeral home after Sunday noon, where the rosary will be
recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
