PETER A. CHRISTOFFEL

Peter A. Christoffel, 64, of 1208 S. 9th street, died this noon at Holy Family
hospital after an illness of three months.
Mr. Christoffel, a native of Two Rivers, was employed by the Aluminum Goods
Manufacturing company for 29 years. He was married July 18, 1907, to Miss Emma
Lefky. She survives with two sons, Roy of this city and Lester, a private in
the U.S. Army stationed in Connecticut; one brother, Jake, of Racine; five
sisters, Mrs. Henry Tyler, Mr. William Berthby and Mrs. Albert Karkon, all of
Racine, Mrs. Mary Neumberger and Mrs. Emil Haefert of Two Rivers, and two
grandchildren.
Mr. Christoffel was a member of St. Joseph’s society at Two Rivers, and the
Holy Name society of St. Boniface church.
The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 8:30 o’clock at the funeral
home and at 9 o’clock at St. Boniface church. The Rev. J. H. Schmitt will
officiate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Father Schmitt will recite
the rosary at the funeral home Thursday evening at 7 o’clock.
