RAYMOND J. CLARK

Funeral services for Raymond J. Clark, 72, of 937 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc,
who died Monday at home will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase Zanotti will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Clark was born May 12, 1896, at Milwaukee, son of the late James and
Ellen Rogers Clark. He attended Marquette University and entered military
service May 4, 1918, and was discharged June 26, 1919. When he returned from
foreign service he joined his father in general contracting business in
Milwaukee. He entered the U.S. postal service at Manitowoc April 1, 1925,
and was a city rural carrier retiring in 1955. He was a member of the American
Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the National Association of Retired Civil
Employes. Mr. Clark married Alma Groth Nov. 25, 1943, and she survives with
three sons (Survivors omitted for privacy.)
A brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home, State Street entrance, this Tuesday
evening until time of funeral services.
