ROSA A. CLEMENS

Mrs. Henry M. Clemens, 76 (photo), of 841 North Eighth street, Manitowoc, died
Saturday afternoon at the Holy Family hospital. She had been in failing health
several months.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mittnacht funeral home,
Manitowoc, and at 9 o’clock at the Sacred Heart church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L. M.
Schorn will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
She was born Rosa Schultz in Manitowoc in 1874, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Frederick Schultz. In 1907 she was married to Mr. Clemens, Manitowoc businessman.
She was a member of the Altar society of the Sacred Heart congregation and the
first president of the auxiliary of the United Commercial Travelers.
Survivors are her husband, daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Strouf of Ladysmith, Wis.; two
sons, Paul of Darien, Conn., and Frederick of Charleston, West Va.; three brothers,
William of Manitowoc and Gustave and Albert of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Edward
Oberland of Altadena, Calif., and Mrs. Lillian Taite?? of Manitowoc, and seven
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Monday by the Altar Society of Sacred Heart church.
