George Delbert Danielson, 79, of 2301 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc, died Thursday
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Danielson was born Feb. 10, 1894, in Waupaca County, son of the late Nes (sic)
and Josephine Gilson Danielson. He married Bernadette Foley Oct. 23, 1926, at St.
Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He operated the Tower Tavern, Manitowoc, and also
George's Eat Shoppe at Reedsville for a number of years and was later employed
as a carpenter by trade. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 706
of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. George (Nora) Kabat, of Reno,
Nev. and Miss Betty Danielson, of Chicago; three brothers, Leonard, of Scandinavia,
Wis., Norman, of Manitowoc and Harold, of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Norman Nelson,
of Wittenberg; and a grandson, Daniel Kabat, of Chicago. A brother and two sisters
preceded him in death.
Friends may all at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m., Friday, where a wake
memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
