Lester A. Dedricks, 66, was found dead in his room Thursday a 913-A S. Eighth
St., Manitowoc, following a heart attack he presumably suffered Wednesday
evening.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Myron J. Hoff will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Dedricks was born at Manitowoc Aug. 1, 1893, son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
John Dedricks, and graduated from local schools. He was a veteran of World
War I, having served as a first lieutanant in the 77th infantry from Sept. 4,
1917, to Feb. 4, 1919. In 1927, he married the former Lucine Muehlberg at
Manitowoc and located here. He was territorial salesman for the J.J. Stangel
Hardware Co. from 1917 until he retired April 1, 1960. He was a member of the
Elks Lodge and former Legionnaire.
Surviving are his wife of West Palm Beach, Fla.; son, (private); three sisters,
Mrs. Otto Schmidt of Los Angeles and Mrs. Lela Grobe and Mrs. Hilda Johnson of
Green Bay; and a grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 o'clock this Friday evening
