Mrs. Albert O. Deering, 74, of 919 S. 37th St., Manitowoc, died late Monday
night at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Private family funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Pfeffer
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. George J. Knudson will officiate with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Deering, nee Martha Bacholz, was born Dec. 12, 1900(sic), at Berlin,
Germany, daughter of the late Anton and Bertha Bacholz. She immigrated to
the United States as a child with her parents. She was married to Albert
Deering in 1919 at Pilsbury, N.D., settling at Manitowoc. She was a member
of the Germania Society.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Arthur, of Manitowoc and Robert, of
Colorado Springs, Colo.; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Tony) Schoeffel and Mrs.
Reuben (Dorothy) Kluczinske, of Manitiow, Mrs. Sonny (Mary) Martin of Detroit,
Mich., and Mrs. Bernald (Betty) Bicoy, of Alea, Hawaii; four brothers, a
sister, 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
