Mrs. Louis G. Delsman, 70, of 710? Cleveland Ave., Manitowoc, died Friday at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mittnacht Funeral Home and at
10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Claude Le Clair
will officiate and burial will be in Evergren Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Delsman, the former Ione Dusold, was born Nov. 22, 1897, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late Edward and Nellie Jorsch Dusold. She attended Sacred Heart
school and Manitowoc Business College and was employed in the office of Pauly
and Pauly Cheese Co., Manitowoc, before her marriage to George Jacobson in 1919.
He died in 1927, and in 1948 she was married to Mr. Delsman.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers of Holy Innocents, Sacred Heart Choir,
Catholic Women's Club, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and American Legion
Auxiliary.
Survivors include the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Elroy (Ione) Brick and Mrs.
William (Jane) Hoelter of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Leo Schroeder? of Manitowoc;
a stepson, Jule Desman of Miramar, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Donald J. Rehrauer
of Manitowoc, five grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren and four step great
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. Members of the CMC and
KC auxiliary will pray the Rosary at 7 p.m. and at 8 p.m. there will be a parish
vigil with members of the CMA.
