Emma Esternik Dent of 836 N. 11th st., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Friday morning, May 21, at the residence.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Daniel Felton and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Dent was born at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Albert and Pauline Dorica Esternik. She was married to Roland Dent in 1943 in Missouri. Mrs. Dent was a previous employee for many years at Imperial Clevite. She was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Josephine Esternik and Paulenee Esternik of Manitowoc and other relatives in Czechoslovakia along with many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland, who was killed in combat during World War II, a sister and a niece.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. by Father Daniel Felton. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
