ELMER E. DETTMAN
Elmer E. Dettman, 57, of 513 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Saturday
evening of a heart attack.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore Sauer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Mr. Dettman was born May 26, 1910, at Manitowoc, son of the late Julius and Ida
Ording Dettman. He married Elvira Wachtel June 1, 1936, at Manitowoc.
Mr. Dettman had been employed 42 years at Aluminum Specialty Co. where he had been
foreman many years.
Surviving are his wife, a son, (private), two daughters, (private) and five grand-
children. A brother and a granddaughter preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until noon Tuesday
when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until
time of services.
