DIES THURSDAY IN MILWAUKEE
Mrs. Henry Dettmann To Be buried Here On Saturday
Mrs. Henry Dettmann, 38, daughter of Herman Moenig of this city, and mother of
10 children, died yesterday of pneumonia in a Milwaukee hospital. Both she and
her husband were taken ill a week ago with the flu. Pneumonia developed.
Mr. Dettmann will be unable to attend funeral services for his wife in this city.
Physicians said he is not out of danger. He is a patient in the same hospital
where his wife died yesterday.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dettmann will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the chapel
in Evergreen cemetery with interment there.
Born Amanda Moenig in this city 38 years ago, Mrs. Dettmann located in Milwaukee
nearly 20 years ago. She married Henry Dettmann in that city 18 years ago.
Survivors are the widower; three sons; seven daughters; a brother, Carl, city;
and three sisters, Mrs. Charles Douglas and Mrs. Peter Sedlacek, city, and Mrs.
Carl Pagel, Algoma, Wis.
