Harold W. Dickert, 72, of 1939 Johnston Dr., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, April 16, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul Borchardt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Dickert was born April 25, 1911, at Manitowoc, son of the late Emil and Lydia Jens Dickert. He attended First German Evangelical Lutheran School in Manitowoc. He married Ann Hagenow, Oct. 21, 1936, at Manitowoc. The couple resided in Manitowoc all their lives. Mr. Dickert was employed at Heresite Chemical Company for 31 years retiring in 1975. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was on the financial Counting Team of the church for many years and was also a Senior Citizen member.
Survivors include his wife, three sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Marilyn Dickert of Mequon, Wis., Gary and Katherine of Tucson, Ariz. and Glenn and Mary Dickert of Hartford, Wis.; a daughter Beverly and Richard Hagen of New Berlin, Wis.; two sisters, Nethalie and Arthur Meissner of Route 2, Two Rivers and Ethel and Joseph Markoski of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church and Lutheran School.
