Mrs. Eleanor Dickey, 89, died Sunday afternoon at five o’clock at the home of
her son, Jay Dickey, 413 S. 26th street, after an illness of a year. She came
here five years ago from Belleplaine, Iowa to make her home with her son.
She was born at Pine Island, Minn., June 8, 1858. She was married 66 years ago
to Osbert Dickey. Mr. Dickey died about 40 years ago. The survivors are her
son, Jay and two grandchildren.
The body will be removed to the Dickey residence from the PFeffer funeral home
Tuesday morning. The Rev. F. C. St. Clair will officiate at services to be held
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the residence. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
