Mrs. Wilhelmina Diedrick(sic), 83, died Thursday night at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. R.F. Thoke, 1605 South 10th street, after a
short illness.
Funeral services iwll be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Wattawa,
Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, the Rev. L.H. Koeninger of the First
German Evangelical Lutheran church officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
The body is lying in state at the funeral hom.
Mrs. Diedrick was born Wilhelmina Volsh in Germany on December 17,
1858, and she was married in Germany in 1879 to William Diedrick.
The couple came to American (sic) in 1891. Mr. Diedrick died nine
years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Diedrick are one son, Carl, of this city; two
brothers, Mrs. Henry Meyer of Sheboygan and Mrs. Thoke of Manitowoc;
nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
