Mrs. Dora Ryen Diegel, 88, of Manitowoc, who resided in Park Lawn Home, died Friday morning in Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in First Lutheran Church Chapel, Manitowoc. The Rev. George Knudson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Diegel, nee Dora Ryen, was born Oct. 31, 1890, in the Town of Cato, daughter of the late Thomas and Thilda Anderson Ryen. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 659 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Vernon and Alice Diegel and Milton and Germaine Diegel of Manitowoc and Gordon Diegel of Illinois, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A son, Allen, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the church from noon until the time of services. Memorials may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
