JOSEPH E. DIETZ

Joseph E. Dietz, 51, of 1417 S. 21st St., Manitowoc, died at home Thursday.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. John
Landowski officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Dietz was born May 24, 1913, at Carolton, Kewaunee County, son of the late
Joseph Dietz nad Barbara Razac Dietz. He came to Manitowoc with his family when
a young man and June 15, 1936, married France Matcyznski at St. Mary Catholic
Church. He was an employe of Lauson Chevrolet Co., Manitowoc, for 30 years. He
was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 706 and Holy Name Society and
Young Men’s Club of St. Mary Church.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, (private), mother, two sisters, Mrs. Edward
(Helen) Stodola of Manitowoc and Mrs. Edgar (Del) Mundt of Estherville, Iowa,
and a grandson, Scott.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where at 7 p.m. the
Rosary will be recited by the parish and Holy Name Society.
