IS TAKEN ILL AT TELEPHONE
Donald Dill, 20, Dies after Illness of 2 Hours
Donald Dill, 20, a graduate of Lincoln high school last June, died suddenly
Wednesday afternoon at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dill, 933
North Ninth street.
The young man went to the telephone to call a friend. As the connection was
made he became ill and collapsed on the floor. Physicians were summoned. He
died two hours later. Harry Dill said his son had not complained of illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at 2
o’clock at the First Lutheran church. Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery.
The deceased was born in this city May 17, 1915. He completed grade school
and entered high school. He was a member of the high school band in his
junior and senior years and also a member of the Arts club. He was also a
member of the E. G. Nash Chapter of the De Molay order.
Survivors are his parents and a sister, Miss Elaine Dill, all of this city.
The body will be removed to the home tonight from the Shimek and Schartz
funeral home.
