Paul Dirkman, 57, of 1113 Fairmont Ln., Manitowoc, died at Holy Family Hospital,
Manitowoc, early Wednesday morning where he had submitted to surgery six weeks
ago.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Jens Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m.
at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. E. A. Radey officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Dirkman was born Dec. 26, 1906, at Manitowoc, son of the late Jacob and Rose
Reiderer Dirkman. He attended Manitowoc schools and was graduated in 1925 from
Southside High School. He attended Manitowoc Business College for two years. He
was a salesman with the J.J. Stangel Hardware Co. automotive division for 19
years. He married Miss Florence Williams May 26, 1934, at Manitowoc. He was a
member of the Holy Name Society, Elks Lodge 687 and Manitowoc Chapter of the
Izaak Walton League of America.
Survivors are his wife, three sisters, Miss Rose Dirkman and Mrs. Anton Glysch,
of Manitowoc and Mrs. Stella Peterke, of Milwaukee and a brother, Francis, of
Manitowoc. A sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 43 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at
7:45 p.m.
