Max R. Dittmer, 89, a native of Manitowoc, died Sunday at a Worthington, Minn.,
nursing home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Donald T. Stannard will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Dittmer was born Sept. 21, 1876(sic), at Manitowoc, son of the late Henry
and Marie Storm Dittmer. He married Amanda Heise May 18, 1898, at Manitowoc.
Following their marriage they lived at Chicago. Mr. Dittmer moved to Worthington
in 1963. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1933.
Surviving are a son, Elmer R., of Manitowoc, a daughter, Miss Leona, of Manitowoc,
one sister, Harriet Lagorio, in Chicago, and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
